We work by appointment only and it’s £15 to book an appointment to come in and discuss something one-on-one in person or consult online. (Collections and follow-up appointments are still of course free.) It's actually super simple and easy; the £15 for any drop-off appointments is deducted from any work booked with the Stairway, so you do not have to pay any extra You can always cancel or move your appointment with the link in the confirmation email, up until 48 hours before the time booked. After that, the time is confirmed and the £15 deposit will be non-refundable. Simple and straightforward! My apologies for having to introduce this minor additional step, but there are simply too many no-shows and late appointments, Believe me, I don’t want to charge for late appointments, but I’d also like to be able to not have to make up that time very late into the evening, so I’m taking a firm line on this from now on. As flexible as I try and be with my schedule, it's becoming difficult to manage, and it’s not just your job I miss out on, it’s the ability to book another one!
